I was shocked and dismayed when I realized how desperate I was to be validated romantically.

I cannot explain how embarrassing it is to know that “Like deep down I’m a basic ass bitch.”

Give me my pumpkin spice latte, floofy winterwear, and my very own Hallmark movie romance!!!

To be loved, and loving just in time for the holidays…

That’d make it all okay, right?

Riiiight.

Christmas puppies still have to be potty trained…

I’m not dumping on love - I think love is awesome AND awful.

Any relationship worth having takes work and tending.

So, I don’t see the perfect relationship when I see this card.

I see how desperate we are for it.

The garden needs tending.
