King of Cups

This week’s Tarot-Draw is the King of Cups.

What a long emotional journey it has been and shall be.

Talk about “go with the flow” vibes.

Emphasis on flow, but more like riding out the seething and roiling feelings.

Don’t fight the current, or the churning up of emotions.

Find your comfy seat, sit back, and watch.

As the light bounces, as the oceans boil, as the dramas roll by - just watch.

Float.

How cool would a functioning armchair love child of a recliner and a pontoon be?

A floating throne should come with a drink holder, or more.

What amenities and accessories would you want on yours while chillaxing with some manatees?

57 weeks ago I set out to link the Psychic Sleep themes of the week to a tarot card that I’ve drawn.

Made it part of the marketing, set up this and that.

All to get me to draw the 58th card, which I have yet to.

Even with more than enough time, that which is put off for a while can easily be put off for longer.

Procrastination stretches to fill up space, and before you know it it’s time and you’re behind.

Most often because we’re waiting to “feel like it”...

Feelings, water, and cups are associated with divine feminine and this King seems at one with the undulating waves.

They seem to be at ease navigating the non-binary.

I’m jealous of that.

What are you jealous of?

It takes effort and acceptance to balance our personal mix of masculine and feminine energies.

It takes effort just to process regular emotions and currently they’re running hot and wild.

It takes effort to just exist.

So be kind to yourself while everyone else seems to be losing their heads around you.

Compassion for yourself opens the floodgates to compassion for others.

Sail the sea of emotions.

Let them wear themselves out.

We all could stand to be kinder to the waters within us as well as the waterways around us.

This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: floating chairs; procrastination; and going with the turbulent flow.
