4 of Swords
This week’s Tarot-Draw is the 4 of Swords.
People used to be obsessed with leaving a legacy behind and some still are.
Ever wondered how people talk about you when you’re not around? Don’t. Hahahahha
One of my favourite phrases is “What other people think of me is none of my business.”
Speaking of caring about other people’s thoughts - on a spectrum from people pleasing sycophant to callous psychopath - where are you on that spectrum today?
No judgment. Sometimes it takes effort to care about something.
In the drawing I didn’t do a great job with implying that Lance L Otter is not napping but is representing one of those sculptures on top of a sarcophagus (or life-size recumbent tomb effigy if you prefer).
While on the topic of death, that “I’ll rest when I’m dead!” mentality seems way too exhausting.
I think naps are valid.
Also, who even holds a grudge to their grave anymore? Probably people who still litter in 2021.
I love the comedic trope of of people being petty in their wills. Talk about getting in the last word lol.
I took my father’s ashes to the Gallatin Mountain Range and picked the best vantage points I could.
I did that so he would be a part of a place he loved (don’t worry, I told him he was not bound to any particular place so he may wander free and continue his adventures.)
I also did it to have a spot to pilgrimage to if I needed to commune with him as part of some journey work.
Some spaces are found to be sacred, some spaces are made sacred.
This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: legacies; rest; and sacred spaces.
