Page of Cups

This week’s Tarot-Draw is the Page of Cups.

And just like that - once again I’m a novice of emotions back on the wheel of court cards.

If you get your inner courtier all riled up they’ll be as eager as any romantic preparing for the next grand ball.

It’s okay to let yourself hope though.

It’s okay to care.

It’s okay to tell the people you love that you love them and that you need space.

Being emotionally vulnerable is not always easy or pretty. (Hell, is it ever?)

But, how can you feel anything if you aren’t open to experiencing emotions as they come?

You don’t get to cherry pick them without consequence.

AKA beware the pendulum swing of the happiness chaser.

Big beginner vibes… hungry for experience, but afraid of repeating harsh emotional lessons of the past.

The way forward - Unlearn then Relearn.

We all move from beginner to intermediate to skilled to master to beginner in an ever evolving loop.

Where on the loop are you emotionally?

Too sensitive? Join the club.

Soft boys are valid. In fact we are “heckin good”.

Once a romantic always a romantic deep down.

Is it time to let some walls down?

The fish in the cup is giving me Cat in the Hat vibes.

I want to know what that fish is saying.

What secrets are they whispering?

Or is it like having an GPS? Turn right in five paces. Rerouting.

That makes that lil’ fishy in the cup much more suspect.

Does it have nice voice? What if it’s pushy and demanding like a little jerk?

What is the purpose behind carrying a fish in a cup?

I doubt anyone is planning on drinking a live goldfish outside of hell week or a professional regurgitator’s stage act.

I immediately go to emotional reasoning.

The page must be helping the fish get from one place to another because he cares what happens.

Even lending a small hand can help tremendously.

Would you carry a cup to transport a fish?

How far?

Would you use your own cup?

Perhaps we’re watching a cup bearer transporting a god disguised as a chatty fish.

Does that change your choice?

People have done a lot worse to get a wish granted.

This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: walls; thought fish; and cup based transportation.
