XV The Devil
This week’s Tarot-Draw is the fifteenth major arcana The Devil.
Who or what is your favourite scapegoat?
I love to shout “Blooming Faeries!” whenever something I’ve recently laid down isn’t where it just was.
I love to blame the weather for my moods.
I love when it’s not my fault. (The Devil made me type that.)
Think of all the things that we vilify… and the villains we adore.
Is there someone or something that you love to hate?
Which came first, the superhero or the supervillain?
They give rise to each other. As well as reason for the other.
Some of us do better while doing it in spite of someone we want to prove wrong.
The weird, the other, the adversary, the object of our hate often serve as reflections of things we refuse to accept as part of us .
It’s humbling when you discover your hate had been directed towards someone who’s simply doing something you were judged or punished for.
What about the things you were made to feel bad about first by someone else that was then artfully taken up as a cause by your own mind?
Dualism and separation invisibly chained to the perception of difference...
What’s the right amount of weird? Or the comfortable side of different?
This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: the other; the weird; and the jealous judge within.
