XIX The Sun

This week’s Tarot-Draw is the major arcana: The Sun.

Did I end up drawing Lance L Otter tripping balls? Yes.

Did I mean to? Kinda.

Some moments are naturally surreal.

Altered states of awareness can be experienced without chemical augmentation FYI.

Although, it could be argued you are affecting the chemical balance in your meat sack.

Internal alchemy aside, when is the last time that you let nature drop your jaw in awe?

Go see any of the natural wonders of the world, that’ll do it quick.

A standout nature + awe moment for me was in Puerto Rico in a bioluminescent bay.

The phytoplankton that gather there release a flash of light when bumped.

It’s like you’re swimming in stars and have a glow-in-the-dark aura.

It was so beautiful that I had to ask myself why am I high, did somebody dose me?

Nope, it’s just Mama Nature doing what she does so well - being magnificent.

One of my favourite over simplifications about nature is that we all eat sunlight.

Plants transform light and if you’re not eating veggies you are eating something that ate the plants and getting your third hand sunlight elsewhere…

There are just too many sun metaphors out there to touch on but just stop and think about how tied our species is to the sunlight we get.

It’s no wonder that our ancestors worshiped our sun.

I say “our sun” because it is simply one star among 100,000 MILLION in our galaxy alone.

I wonder if there are alien species out there worshiping their sun(s) right now.

That leads me to wonder what an interdimensional star would look like if it existed simultaneously in multiple dimensions like we do.

I hope once we really get a handle on using the energy our sun is constantly giving us our species will make leaps and bounds and maybe stop destroying the thing we live on.

This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: sun light; transference; and galactic perspective.
