XXI The World
This week’s Tarot-Draw is the 21st Major Arcana card The World.
Oh yeah, Portals! (*celebratory air horn noises).
Doorways, gates, access to other sites, an opening…
Mirrors are portals, eyes are portals, shout out to portal guns in pop fiction.
Whatever happened to a good ACME hole gag? Hahaha that sounds awful! I take it back!
On a spectrum of ACME hole to digitally masterful Sci-Fi depictions of warping space-time, what’s your favourite portal?
Short of Stargate most portals lack the necessary razzle-dazzle I feel is due to a good portal.
The warping of space-time needs… zazzle.
A portal held open by four archangels surely carries some significance, shouldn’t it?
Zazzle.
It’s the end of a story within a story.
The end of the major arcana story line.
The preface to the next beginning.
But, not the end of Lance L Otter’s adventure Thru the Tarot, we’ve months to go.
This story will begin again for each new awareness that comes across these words and drawings and recordings in the future.
That’s pretty cool.
A book ends, but the series may still be going on.
When is an art piece done? When we as artist say so.
When does a piece of art live? When we interact with it.
What do you find meaningful?
Take a moment, it’s a big question - what do you find meaningful?
[Space]
What have you ascribed meaning to lately?
I find struggle and meaning in trying to be vs. being a good person.
The magickal relationships I have hold a bigger meaning as well.
I’m a slut for external validation so I must value that but, does that mean that I find it meaningful?
In as far as it progresses the story to get to the more meaningful parts.
Maybe we can start to let go of the fear of not holding on long enough.
That would be a lovely metaphorical portal.
Wrap up the side plots to varying degrees and even more portals.
While waiting on perfection nothing gets done.
Reconstruct your experiences.
Make your past your prologue.
What you are going through can be seen as portals to new dimensions of self, if you allow them to be.
How do you want the old chapter to end and the new one to begin?
This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: making past prologue; portholes and portals; and other such alliterative preponderances.
