Queen of Pentacles
This week’s Tarot-Draw is the Queen of Pentacles.
It’s an interesting feeling to be drawing the card at the same time as writing this.
Alternating back and forth.
I used to having a cushion of a couple of days to soak in the energies of the card before writing my otter-blog posts.
But life happened. As it does. Priorities shifted as they do.
But I’m still here, still plotting along.
And I’m grateful I was reminded that indeed it is an honor to get to spend all day swimming in these energies, reshaping sentences - all in hopes that it bring inspiration to others.
Pouring over words like Lava pours.
Wanting to be helpful while letting life happen.
Life happens regardless.
So many living things in this picture, framing us as Lance as Queen.
Agriculturally dense imagery speaking to power and flow.
Metaphor rich earth.
Fruit embroidery adorning the cushioning of the throne.
Symbolic Upholstery, yes please.
Grasses and mosses are nature’s cushions and covers.
Both are highly symbolic as well.
Even where earth is bare or water rare plants taught us softness in the form of a flower.
Our planet comes equipped with a comfortable living layer of adaptive green and other vibrant hues. Nifty.
The soil beneath being a-whole-nother topic unto itself.
I think it’s fascinating that our atoms don’t actually touch anything yet we all have a vivid sense of what softness is.
Don’t forget, some plants are prickly and sharp because they’ve had to be.
To survive their situation.
To Persist.
There are lessons to be learned from persistence.
Persistence leads to Perseverance.
Rewards to be earned and cashed in on...
The grass is gonna grow.
This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: cushy cushions; letting life happen; and growth.
