Page of Wands
This week’s Tarot-Draw is the Page of Wands.
What drives you?
Obligation? Passion? Discovery?
What fuels your inner drive?
Snack foods? Pretty things? Crippling debt?
Are you eager for or resistant to that changing?
I’m a frustrating bit of both.
Are you willing to try and learn new ways of participating in existence?
We discover new things all the time.
Just because you knew something to be true in the past, that no longer means much anymore does it?
We discover new truths that shed light on old ideas.
The whole world seems to be in a time of un-learning and re-learning.
It’s hard to let go of what you thought you knew, and harder still to let go of something that helped you survive your past.
But what a wonderful feeling it is to be pleasantly surprised by something you thought you knew well.
Remember to keep the youthful perspective of an open mind rather than the childish perspective of a contrary reaction.
Have you ever traveled down a route you’ve traversed loads of times prior and happen to notice some landmark you’d swear was not there before?
Only to find out later it has been there for quite some time?
We don’t notice details when we’re wrapped up in the noise in our heads.
Considering how much time I spend wrapped up my head I’m surprised I notice anything at all.
Much praise has been sung of the beginner’s mindset.
Being a beginner implies getting some things wrong as well.
It’s our attitudes on the other side of having gotten something wrong that shows our true potential.
How you handle being wrong says much about your character.
If you can’t handle being wrong you’ll never grow.
Mistakes help you learn because the essential lesson is not in the information being corrected but in the experience of picking yourself back up as many times as it takes.
If you had a clean slate…
Could you let go of the pride you’ve gathered?
Would you take some time to look at the same old things with fresh eyes?
Could you stop taking score?
But for real-z, how are you fueling yourself?
This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: Prince La-di-dah from Overthere’s discovery; fuel; and other flammable materials.
