6 of Swords
This week’s Tarot-Draw is the Six of Swords.
Uh oh.
Strategic retreat? Narrow escape? Looking for silver linings?
What’s your poison of choice for a plot?
Think of all the stories that have been reflected by ambling water.
Muddy rivers with highlights of cream and sepia toned reflections.
Pristine lakes reflecting panoramas with mirrored accuracy.
Do you think you are more afraid of what’s in the water (the unknown) or what you’re escaping (the known)?
Fear of missing out versus the comfort of the familiar.
Are you the ones riding the boat hidden amongst the swords?
Camouflaged and hiding from notice.
Or, are you the ferryman?
Are you captain of your own water taxi? Of your own destiny?
Times get rough. Sometimes you are able to help, and sometimes you have to ask for help,
Sometimes you gotta go through the humbling of self until you’re ready to ask for the help you need.
Humiliation and humility are not the same thing…
We all need help at some point.
Is there something you could do for someone else?
All acts of kindness, large and small, are affective.
In that they send out ripples of karma causing fundamental change in both the giver and receiver.
Kindness is quite like Reiki in that way - the healer is being healed as the healing heals the recipient.
Tend to the friendships that would help you escape in the middle of the night.
This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: reflection; permission; and kindness.
