10 of Swords
This week’s Tarot-Draw is the Ten of Swords.
Drawing this card led me to the deep uncomfortable feelz for the 2nd time. The first was when I drew Lance as the Devil.
Seeing Lance L Otter stabbed and seemingly betrayed - it hurt to ink.
Also seeing how my stylized swords looked I second guessed myself and drew extra hilt.
When I began I wanted the swords to be a circle, a rectangle, and a triangle - representational like the sword itself of words, deeds, struggles…
But these swords needed to have a touch more realism (not much mind you) for stabbing purposes.
Drawing the blood also got to me. I don’t like the thought of my Ottervatar (otter+avatar) being injured, much less the thought of him gravely injured.
I wanted to but chose not to put a message in the blood and posed hand just to indicate that justice might prevail if someone would just look at the clues.
Veering away from feelings of justified or unjust backstabbing and betrayal, ‘cause ain’t nobody got time for that - what clues are you missing?
How aligned are your actions and your deepest beliefs?
How familiar are you with your inner saboteur?
How familiar are you with your inner megalomaniac?
This week in Psychic Sleep we’ll touch on themes of: guard; grip; and pommel.
